Who is Team Wipebook?
Wipebook’s patented technology transforms conventional paper into reusable & erasable surfaces: We create tools for problem solvers & educators. In 2013 the co-founders met in an entrepreneurship class at the University of Ottawa, where they were tasked with developing a viable business in 6 weeks. The team ran a crowdfunding campaign for the idea of a whiteboard notebook which saw the company raise $424,314 in 30 days; Canada’s 7th largest campaign at the time. The team then had the opportunity to pitch on Dragons Den where they were offered a deal from Arlene Dickinson for 300,000$. Wipebook has shipped its products in 68 countries around the world and has sold in retail channels such as Staples, Walmart & Costco across North America.
